Spring is finally here! And in today’s episode of the Positively Green Podcast, we’re talking all about sunscreen. Believe it or not, we need some sun exposure without any sunscreen to help our bodies get Vitamin D. We’re also talking about the ingredients in conventional sunscreens and their health effects, as well as how they are negatively impacting the environment. Then we also leave you with safe, non-toxic, mineral sunscreen options. We’re all about practicing safe sun exposure over here!

In this episode we discuss:

  • Why we need Vitamin D and the sun
  • Ingredients in conventional sunscreens and their negative health effects
  • Why these ingredients are also harmful to the environment and contributing to coral bleaching
  • Safe mineral sunscreen options

We need to protect our skin because our skin is sensitive and we are all vulnerable to skin damage. We should drink enough vitamins and minerals so that our body will be strong and it can fight the different sickness that are present in this generation. A great testimony to what is happening in our world. I want to be safe and I want to take care of my body since we only have one life. This life is not permanent so let us take care of it. A responsibility that we are all entitled to. I know that this post will go a long way.
