Family U-Pick Event, Sept 27th @ 11am
Bring the whole family and pick the prettiest local flowers in the area! Our local flower farm offers never-sprayed chemical-free blooms in loads of colors. This event is for all ages and a fantastic way to get the kids outside in nature.

What: Our annual family u-pick event!
$25 Family Admission includes:
- One large red-solo cup per attendee to collect flowers
- One safety scissors per parent
- Pick as many flowers as you like
- All ages welcome
- Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and eat on the grass
- Bug spray will be available if needed
Parking is available in front of our Quonset building and along the north side of our dirt road (Bashaw Valley Road).
FAQs
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
No, tickets must be purchased in advance so I can be sure there are enough supplies for everyone.
Can I pack a picnic lunch?
Yes! Feel free to enjoy a picnic on the grass.
Do I need to bring a vase?
Nope! I'll have large red-solo cups for you to collect your flower bouquet in as well as water to give them a drink.
What flowers will be available to pick?
Since flowers are grown locally at Green Willow Homestead in Shell Lake, the variety depends entirely on the weather conditions. Zinnia, snapdragons, lisianthus, strawflower, aster, and yarrow are all possible.
Can I make an extra bouquet for a loved one?
Yes! Just come find me and I'll give you another red-solo cup.
Can I ask you tons of things about flowers?
I'd love nothing more than to talk about flowers with you all afternoon!
